New World Aviation
Chris George, New World Aviation’s Director of Maintenance, has been with the company since its inception. Chris has expansive
knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, specializing in FAR Part 135 and 145. Chris started with New World as the Chief Inspector;
in this capacity he established New World as a Gulfstream and Learjet FAR Part 145 repair station. Promoted to Director of Maintenance,
Chris manages our extensive fleet of 23 aircraft and 15 maintenance technicians. Chris has vast knowledge and training on corporate
aircraft, allowing him to run the maintenance department in the safest and most effective manner.
Chris has been in the aviation industry for over 20 years, spending the majority his career managing and maintaining various types
of corporate aircraft. Chris began his career working with a top Fortune 500 Company, where he was introduced to the highest standards
in aviation maintenance. Chris has attended numerous professional and technical courses, along with aircraft manufacturer’s factory
authorized training.
Russell Lash
General Manager
New World Aviation
As one of the original members of New World Aviation (NWA) Russell was instrumental in developing the FAR 145 Avionics department
to its current level as the Avionics Manager. Promoted to the position of General Manager in February of 2003, Russell has redirected
his talents to towards a new goal to include assisting in the direction of the maintenance and the financial success of the maintenance
department. His vision is to establish NWA as a top service provider in all aspects of the aviation industry.
Russell has been in the aviation industry for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in FAR 135 and 145 operations. Russell
started his aviation career in 1983 as a communication/navigation specialist in the United States Air Force. During his time in the
Air Force he was selected as 25th Air Division Airman of the year and Maintenance Professional of the year. Russell has a degree in
Electronics and has attended numerous professional courses within the aviation industry.
