1. What experience do you have and how long have you been in business?
New World Aviation has been an FAA Part 135 approved Air Charter Operator (N38A138Y) since 1998. As a Part 135 Charter Operator, we exercise complete operational control, and are Wyvern™ and ARG/US® Platinum approved. The average aviation experience of our employees is 20 years.
2. What are the costs of chartering an aircraft?
Pricing will depend on the size of the aircraft. Additional fees may include landing fees, catering, and crew expenses. A detailed quote listing all expenses will be provided prior to booking.
3. How do I reach Charter Sales after normal business hours?
Simply call our toll-free number, 877-359-0100 to reach a New World team member anytime, day or night. For your convenience any member of our team is available anytime to assist in your travel needs.
4. Are there travel destination restrictions?
New World Aviation can operate worldwide to accommodate your travel destination requests.
5. What if New World does not have an aircraft available for me to charter?
If our fleet is not available, we will obtain whatever aircraft you need from our network of charter partners. To ensure your safety, we restrict our use of operators only to those that are Wyvern™ or ARG/US® Gold Plus or Platinum approved.
6. Are there any cancellation fees?
Our cancellation policy is to require 24 hour notice to avoid a 2 hour flight minimum charge for Domestic trips. For International trips, the required notice is 48 hours. We also charge for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred for international planning, hotel, transportation, and flight fees. If your cancellation is based on an unusual circumstance, such as a family emergency, a portion of this fee may be credited if a flight is re-booked within 30 days.
7. What level of training do New World pilots receive?
Many operators simply set their standards to meet FAA minimums, we exceed them. We provide a two pilot crew on every private jet flight and our flight crews are trained at FlightSafety® every six months. We adhere to the highest proficiency levels as required by Wyvern™ and ARG/US® Platinum. Our pilots are FAA certified and licensed. They also participate in FAA required recurrent training, medical exams, and safety screenings.
8. What kind of security procedures can I expect when traveling?
At some destinations, including private terminals, you may be subject to security checks due to TSA (Transportation Security Administration) regulations. For Domestic travel, TSA regulations require a government issued photo ID, such as a driver's license. (Parents can currently vouch for children). For International travel (including Mexico and Canada), a passport is required for every passenger including newborns. Additional ID is not required as this document includes a photo.
9. What if I have extensive travel needs but don't want the cost of owning an aircraft?
Chartering private aircraft is the most cost effective and New World Aviation can work with you to tailor a customized program that might include discounts for block time purchased to reduce costs.
